We strive to pick up where the past masters left off and bring analog photography into the 21st Century. We propose that the best way protect film photography, is to practice it.
ORIGIN
Small things have big beginnings.
The first camera was not a handheld device but a room. Renaissance painters would use lenses to project images of their subjects onto canvas in aid of painting. This room was the Camera Obscura from which we get our name.
Philosophy
Old doesn’t mean obsolete.
It's not simply a matter that photography is increasingly being used as a one-way means of communication; it's about the fact that our studio has knowledge and skills in a field that should not be lost.

A sharp eye, razor reflexes and a keen sense.
Operating analog equipment requires knowledge of optics, chemical processes and scientific method. Coupled with extensive experience. We pride ourselves in being able to execute the entire process from start to finish; shutter to print.

Our Studio is the culmination of 15 years of experience with film photography. A growing disillusionment with all things digital directed us to develop and promote film as the tangible and aesthetic medium; memories we can touch and be touched by.
